THE
Pastors
Pastors Mark and Dahna have been the pastors of Rock Creek Church (formerly Ridin' High Cowboy Church) since it's
beginning in 2000.
Prior to founding the
church, they led and coordinated the
ministry of "Eastern Sky" (a Christian
Country Music & Word evangelistic ministry) for 9 1/2 years.
In their early years of ministry they served
as associate pastor, youth pastors, praise
& worship leader, teachers and many
various roles in their home
church.
Our pastors' vision
has always been to reach the lost for
Christ and to empower believers through
the ministry of the Word and the Holy
Spirit.

At RCC you can expect to be greeted by friendly greeters who will do their best to inform you and make you feel right at home. The praise and worship at RCC is a blend of country/traditional & contemporary worship in every service. The objective during worship is to always give each one attending the opportunity to enter into the PRESENCE of the Lord. At RCC you can expect anointed teaching and preaching of the Word, as well as prayer and ministry as the Holy Spirit leads. Our objective is always to "enter His presence & experience His power".
Our History
In the summer of 1999, God began to lay upon Pastor Mark & Dahna's hearts the call to Pastor.
While being involved in a very successful evangelistic ministry that had spanned over the last 9 years, it was not an easy or quick decision; but they recognized the leading of the Holy Spirit and responded to His call. On May 7, 2000 the first service was held at the old Rock Creek General Store.
That Sunday the Spirit of God moved and several people gave their lives to Jesus. Church was held in that little building for the first couple of years, while the church expanded and grew. The church soon purchased that very piece of property which is still it's home today.
After out-growing the old building, church was held in a tent on the property for several years. In spite of dealing with the weather issues (in the tent); people still continued to come and be ministered to. Through a miraculous provision of God, a new barn-like sanctuary was erected in 2004 and is the current home of the church.
Through the church's existence there have been countless lives saved, baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost and changed by the power of God. In the fall of 2016, God spoke to Pastor Mark's heart to change the name of the church to "Rock Creek Church" (formerly Ridin' High Cowboy Church).
Even though much of the church's decor and atmosphere is still connected to a country flavor, it is obvious that after only one visit that the vision is to reach all people regardless of their culture, race or social status.
